Janne Kolehmainen

Janne (Kole) Kolehmainen is a curious creature. When preparing for coaching sessions, he gets to know the business of the company he is coaching relatively thoroughly. He is a familiar sight in our clients' offices, but also where the action is. You'll often see him in his orange safety jacket and safety shoes, running around the production facilities. It's important to know the strategy, the numbers and the targets, but it's the people and the day-to-day activities that bring out the need for change.  

The background of three is on the other side of the table. She started her career in the tourism industry, where she gained experience first in the HoReCa sector and as a tour guide. These jobs taught him customer service and focused on meeting people, customer experience and consumer sales (B2C). Her first contact with B2B sales was when she worked for Finnair in a Key Account Management role. This job introduced him to the Finnish export industry and a very international perspective. Kole has been working in management teams since 2005, first in the sports and wellness sector and then in the security sector until 2015. The first time he stepped into the shoes of a front office manager was through a management traineeship in 1998 during a summer job, and developing people took his heart. Leading people and building a team has been inspiring. Kole's heart beats for experience. He believes that experience is a competitive advantage for every company, regardless of industry. Here we Finns have a lot to learn from the world. At the heart of the B2B sales experience is trust and the ability/willingness to help customers do better business. A company can build its own competitive advantage through, for example, mass customisation. It is on these themes that Kole became a Pine & Gilmore Certified Experience Expert #295 years ago.
